Welcome! I’m Robin Shriner, the owner and sole bookkeeper behind The Birds Eye Bookkeeping. First off — thank you for being here. I know that handing over your books to someone else can feel personal and a little vulnerable, and I want you to know: I get it.
After more than 22 years working in the banking and financial world, I’ve seen firsthand how overwhelming and stressful finances can be — especially for small business owners who are wearing all the hats. I created this business to bring calm, clarity, and consistency to your financial life, so you can focus on the parts of your business you love.
Before I opened The Birds Eye Bookkeeping, I spent over two decades working in the corporate Mortgage Banking world, where I held a variety of roles — from mortgage servicing and project management to eventually becoming a Vice President with roles including Process improvement, Compliance reviews and Project management within the Mortgage Banking and Credit card divisions.
Much of that time I worked from home, which taught me how to be incredibly self-motivated and how to manage projects, people, and processes with care and precision. I also had the chance to work in small business management for over 10 years, so I truly understand the pressures of running a business day in and day out. I grew up in a small town and my parents were business owners for over two decades.
I’m someone who genuinely loves solving problems and fixing broken systems. I find joy in helping clients clean up their books, make sense of their numbers, and build systems that actually work for them — not the other way around.
While my Bookkeeping business is new, I’m far from alone — I work closely with a mentor who brings 20+ years of bookkeeping, accounting, college level teaching and is a CPA and business owner herself. All the resources needed to ensure you’re supported with the best insight and expertise possible.
My services are open to all small business owners, including non-profits. I am also a proud supporter of veteran-owned businesses, having had many veterans in my own family, and it’s my honor to give back by helping those who have served build strong, successful futures.
At The Birds Eye Bookkeeping, you’re not just another account. You’re a fellow business owner chasing big dreams — and I take that seriously.
As your bookkeeper, I’ll personally manage your books and treat your business like it’s my own. You’ll always get honesty, transparency, and reliable financial tracking you can count on. More than anything, my goal is to help you feel confident in your numbers and your decisions. My motto is:
“Keeping your Books Balanced in Flight, Always in Sight, Reaching Great Heights.”
I believe perspective is your most valuable asset in business. You have to know where you stand before you can move forward — and I’m here to help you see clearly, and reach those great heights you’re working toward.
